My name's Lesley and I'm the owner and founder of TU Flora. Starting a business was never part of my original plan, but life has a way of guiding us toward our true passions. For many years, i've dedicated my life as a teacher to educating, shaping young minds, and inspiring a love for learning. I've found immense satisfaction in teaching students Health concepts and imparting them with information to better their life. By immersing them in the benefits of physical activity and sporting excellence I could help them on a successful life pathway beyond school.

However, over time, I felt a growing pull towards my roots—literally. I could feel a deep desire to reconnect with the earth and the simple pleasures of my childhood. Some of my earliest childhood memories have always been around plants and growing things. My parents are hardworking farmers, and my grandparents on both sides were passionate gardeners. I have many memories of the times I would be helping my parents on the farm, learning how to divide and propagate plants, make jam and baking with my grandma, learning all the tricks to look after my pops worm farm, tending to his vegetable patch or being paid 1cent per prickle weed i would pick from his large suburban yard. I believe it was in these moments that I learnt the secrets of gardening basics and started my flora journey. ​​
